Getting around this weekend
Sunday · Nissan Stadium
When
Kickoff is at noon. Parking lots open at 8 am, stadium gates at 10 am, and lots close 2 hours after the game. (Tennessee Titans)
Areas to avoid
Fans walk in from downtown over the Woodland Street Bridge (the stadium's recommended route), the Korean Veterans Blvd Bridge and the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, so expect foot crowds on all three. (Nissan Stadium)Buses, shuttles and pedicabs all load at Woodland St and S. 1st St by the bridge, the busiest corner after the game. (Nissan Stadium)
Shuttles and transit
WeGo local buses to the game are free; Park and Ride express buses run from Bellevue and Hickory Hollow (free) and Cool Springs and Gallatin/Hendersonville ($2 each way). (Nissan Stadium)Parked downtown? WeGo event buses board at the Elizabeth Duff Transit Center at WeGo Central or on Union Street across from the Metro Courthouse. The WeGo Star train is $17 with free parking. (WeGo Public Transit)The Gray Line gameday shuttle runs from 90 minutes before kickoff and back from halftime until 1 hour after the game, $20 round trip, cashless. (Nissan Stadium)The closest rideshare zones are Crutcher St on the south end and Gay St on the north end, across the Woodland St Bridge. (Nissan Stadium)Biking? Walk Bike Nashville runs a free bike valet at S. 1st St across from the foot of the pedestrian bridge, from two hours before kickoff until one hour after the game. (Nissan Stadium)
Parking
On-site parking for Titans games is sold out, and there are no day-of parking sales on campus. (Nissan Stadium)
Not published: Metro Nashville Police (MNPD) and NDOT posted no traffic plan or street closures for the Oct 25 game (both news pages checked Oct 25; MNPD's latest post was Oct 22); Nissan Stadium's transportation page and the Titans gameday page list no game-day road closures. Check the official page before you go.
Not going? Every stop in this weekend's plans is at least 5.6 miles from Nissan Stadium as the crow flies (closest: Boo at the Zoo).
For families: Fine for kids, with tickets
Kids two and older need their own ticket; under two can sit on a grown-up's lap, and every minor must be with a parent or guardian. (Nissan Stadium)Leave the stroller at home: strollers are not allowed, but baby carriers are, along with sippy cups, wipes and baby food in plastic containers. (Nissan Stadium)Diaper bags count as bags: clear only, 12 by 12 by 6 inches or smaller, plus one small clutch no bigger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches. (Nissan Stadium)
Saturday · First Horizon Park
When
The half marathon and the 5K both start at 7 am at First Horizon Park; the finish line is open 7 to 11:30 am and the finish line festival runs until noon. (Run Nash)
Areas to avoid
Run Nash's suggested detours: Broadway and Church St into downtown, 4th Ave S and 8th Ave S north and south (in breaks between runners), 12th Ave S around Music Row, and Jefferson St between East and West Nashville. (Run Nash)Need to cross the course? Police at the intersections will wave cars across when there are breaks in the runners. (Run Nash)

Parking
No street parking on race morning, and cars get towed, on Gay St, 4th Ave N, Titans Way, 1st Ave S and N, Victory Ave, Union St, S. 1st St, 2nd Ave, Music Square East and Demonbreun St. (Run Nash)Race parking is in Lots 8, 12, 14 and 15, which sit on or near the course, so getting in and out can be slow; the Farmers' Market lots are no parking. (Run Nash)
Best times to travel

Not going? Every stop in this weekend's plans is at least 6.4 miles from First Horizon Park as the crow flies (closest: Boo at the Zoo).
For families: Fine for kids, with tickets
The 5K welcomes all ages and fitness levels, has a 1 hour time limit and one water stop around halfway; entry is paid. (Run Nash)Running or walking with a stroller? There are two stroller corrals at the start; you pick one when you register. (Run Nash)
